New Years Eve Party Location @ Stellar Hall

I'm going to be spending NEW YEARS EVE locally at Stellar Hall this year at the new renovated hall, I think, as not only is my relationship professional, having been around the family prior to the first D.H.C. location opening, when a then strapping young owner Johnny Cutroni came and asked my opinion on the idea of opening a spot wherein I think I said, "Go for it", but he's  also a friend and you should be around some on New Year's.

His first venture Delihouse Catering was just in a small strip mall, breakfast only location at Yonge & Mulock in Newmarket to start. I had been a single dad working at Glenway Country Club (yes, the same one that is being razed as we speak!) as a bartender, & filling in as fine-dining night waiter too as they didn't have anyone who knew french service - other than one other guy & Johnny - also a single waiter then who'd learned his craft mostly working for a caterer at Aurora's Atrium from a very young age before Glenway.

So it was only a natural that he evolved from breakfasts, to catering, to a full fledged Stellar Hall as is now sported at 1220 Stellar Lane Dr. upstairs above the bowling alley. Of course, he now has kids as well as a wife, and whilst mine are older we're all friends and that's what New Years Eve is about - spending time with friends & good people, and so who better to play host and for me to attend at on N.Y.'s, especially when part of your job is to assist with the nights success!

For 2016 -17 The now dubbed Stellar Hall Ball features a sports memorabilia auction, live entertainment during dinner and DJ with a 5 course dinner and party favours...$75 inclusive. Semi to formal dress. A great deal with experienced hosts!

Newmarket Banquet Hall offers fresh food fare

Book Deli-House Catering Hall in house or out for your next luncheon, banquet, wedding, meeting, christening or any event!...While you can! With the recent closing down of the Roman Palace Banquet Hall which was located in Newmarket as well, the DH Hall has been deluged with inquiries regarding hall costs and events as there appears to be a hole to fill now that they are gone.

It's too bad, not for DH of course, but for Roman Palace, as some years ago I used to work for them on occasion helping with various functions often tending bar and serving when the need arose.
Of course, this was when they were located in the Tannery Mall on Davis Drive above the Hound & Heather and when the Patriarch of the Sabino family was still alive. Ironically and tragically he was killed by a drunk driver.

Meantime Deli House Catering has ramped up their orders for lunches and breakfasts and have begun some in-house baking as well! Mmmm..

I happened through the kitchen recently when a fresh batch of home made cookies were coming out and managed to wangle one from the Chef after first munching down on the buffet lunch menu of the day being served which included oriental style chicken w fresh veggies, sumptuous rice balls, pasta pommodoro, salads and some yummy deserts. Slurp!

The place has just added beautiful new flooring in the bar/buffet room and a new dance floor too giving a touch more elegance to an already beautiful events and banquet hall!
